Getting started, in three steps
Install from Google Play
The download is free and asks for no account at all. The app runs on Android 8 and newer.
Write down your 12 words
Your identity is generated on your phone as a 12-word phrase. It is your only key: write it on paper and keep it somewhere safe. We never see it and we cannot recover it.
Add a friend with a QR code
You scan each other's codes in person. Encryption keys come straight from the QR, not from the server, so nobody can slip in between you.
The iOS version is on its way
