This roadmap reflects the major milestones, challenges, and innovations that have shaped our progress. Each step represents our commitment to deliver a secure and intuitive user experience. Here's how we've grown and what's next on the horizon.
Our journey started with a simple yet ambitious goal-to create a mobile chat application with end-to-end communication. The first prototype was successfully tested on Android, marking a crucial step in what would later evolve into Chatit.
From the very beginning, we built Chatit with privacy at its core. Every conversation is fully encrypted, ensuring that only you and the person you're communicating with have access to the messages no AI, no third parties, just secure and private communication.
As we grew, we knew that a strong online presence was essential. The website was launched to showcase our vision, attract early adopters, and establish our brand in the global market.
After successfully testing our chat application on Android devices, we realized the need to expand beyond a single platform. To reach a broader audience and ensure seamless communication across different devices, we decided to support iOS as well.
This shift required adapting our infrastructure and optimizing the application to deliver the same secure and efficient experience across multiple platforms.
The Alpha release went out to a limited group of selected users and let us refine the core features before showing them to everyone. Every fix in the list below came from a tester report.
The Beta is here. Chatit is now on the App Store and Google Play, in Romania, no invitation needed. This phase focuses on stability, tester feedback, and the last features before the global launch.
After thorough testing and refinement, Chatit launches globally. This release marks the beginning of a stable and secure messaging experience for everyone, as well as our transition towards the security of the future.
This roadmap is written together with our testers. Download the app and help decide what comes next.
